Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side travel to bottom-of-the-table Dundee on Wednesday evening, and we want to know whether midfielder Ryan Christie should be rewarded for his substitute appearance against Hearts with a start.
The 23-year-old has been on the fringes of the Hoops’ side, but on Sunday in the Scottish League Cup semi-final his introduction at half-time completely changed the game.
Christie replaced Olivier Ntcham and provided two assists, the first by winning a penalty for Scott Sinclair to convert and the second with a shot that was dropped by Hearts keeper Zdenek Zlamal before James Forrest slammed home.
He then completed the perfect substitute display with a fantastic strike into the top left-hand corner to send the Bhoys into the final, and surely secure his spot in Rodgers’ starting XI for the trip to Dundee.
